Wednesday February 7, 2018 Monday was a pretty good day. Gabriel slept really well Sunday night so he was in a fantastic mood. I had to take him to the doctors that morning because I thought he had oral thrush but I was worried about nothing. The doctor said he is a very healthy baby which made this mommas heart very happy! After we got home he took a nap and then we went on a nice walk to the post office and the thrift store. We got a couple packages for Gabriel; he got a baby babble dvd from his Aunt April (my older sister) and I got a book to learn about sleep training from my best friend (Rachel). Today is Sunday February 4 2018.  Right now Gabriel is sitting in his bouncer watching a movie and drinking his milk. Today has been an alright day. He cried for like 2 hours this morning and didnt want to take his nap. He still isnt sleeping through the whole night consistantly yet.  There are days where he is an angel and is just wonderful and doesnt cry or fuss at all. But then there are the days where he cries ALL day long and I just want to pull my hair out and cry! Does it mean im a bad mom on those hard days? No. Babies have bad days; just like us. But for them they dont know how to communicate their frustration to you so they just cry. What is love? When you tell your spouse "I love you" what is it that you truly mean? Normally people are referring to the  feeling  of love. And there is nothing wrong with that! But there is something wrong when you think the only thing defining love is a feeling....  What is Gods definition of love? The birth of my Son I haven't written on here for a while. Been super busy lately. My baby was born last week finally and I would like to share what happened.  Thursday morning: My contractions started at 3:00 Thursday morning. I woke up and had to go to the bathroom and realized I was having contractions. I started to time them and realized they were consistent. At 5:30am I called my midwife and she told me I was in labor. My husband and I were having the birth at a birthing center. I woke shea up and told him he needed to stay home from work.  At around 10:30am we went over to the birthing center and our midwife said I was only 3cm dilated. So we decided to come back home and wait it out for a few hours. At 5:30pm we went back over the birthing center because the contractions were worse. Being in labor is not fun. My name is Madison. This is the first time I've ever done a blog. Im a stay at home wife and have my first baby on the way. I thought it would be good for me to start a new hobby and I thought maybe talking about my pregnancy/child by blogging might be good.
